My Clinical and Leadership Background

My career is rooted in comprehensive clinical care and operational leadership. I currently practice as an Emergency Physician and General Practice Anesthetist at Chilliwack General Hospital, where I have also served as Interim Head of the Emergency Department. Over the years, my work has spanned a variety of complex healthcare settings, from serving as a Rural Generalist Anesthetist across numerous district hospitals in Australia to providing episodic care nationwide as a Telehealth Physician with Teladoc Health Canada.

Beyond direct patient care, I have a proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives, optimizing patient flow, and guiding change management. I am passionate about leveraging clinical expertise to translate strategic visions into action, frequently coaching staff through the adoption of new, technology-driven clinical workflows. I also serve in various governance roles, including as Vice President of the Board for the Lumara Grief & Bereavement Care Society and past Board Chair for the Remote Vocational Training Scheme.
